GOOGY  OF  THE  MONTH
The award nobody really wants, but some people will get it, anyway.
Worthy awardees, indeed. The incarnations of the Googy, so to speak:
Two candidates, and only one award - well, they will have to share it. There couldn't be a can of googies large enough to do these two  justice, anyway.

But feel free to choose your personal favourite - who is the biggest Googy of them all? Maybe it's the lovely

ELSIE WAYNE, MP

who stated that gays should get back into the closet

"where they belong",

and who added that,

"If they are going to live together, they can go live together and shut up about it."

And as for the recent court rulings endorsing same-sex marriage:

"There is not any need for this nonsense whatsoever, and we should not have to tolerate it in Canada."

Indeed - there is no need for your nonsense, Madame, and it should neither be tolerated in Canada nor in any other country.

Hard concurrence for Mrs Wanye comes from

LARRY SPENCER, MP

who heralded in a recent interview with the Canadian "Vancouver Sun" his theory that the gay-movement is a

"well-orchestrated (...) conspiracy"

which began in the 1960; including

"seduction and recruitment of young boys in playgrounds and locker rooms and the deliberate infiltration of North America's judiciary, schools, the religious community, and the entertainment industry."

He also stated that he believes it was a mistake to have homosexuality legalized. And - as he is obviously an expert on the field of medicine - heralded to the world that gay men, due to AIDS and other health problems have a longer life-span than straight ones:

"Let's just say if ... anybody that used Colgate toothpaste, their life expectancy was lowered by 10, 15 years. What do you think would happen to Colgate toothpaste? It would be outlawed. Well, we know that's what happens to men living a gay lifestyle."

Mr Spencer also complaint that

"I just wish that there was some way that society could stand up and say, 'This is not right.' "

Well, Mr Spencer - here is a small part of society which is very willing to comply with your wishes - prick up your ears and listen carefully, we will speak slowly so that even you will understand:

THIS. IS. NOT. RIGHT.
