| MÄKKA is without a doubt one of Switzerland's most talented young cartoonists. He didn't get the nickname "El Magnifico" without reason ... ! Beside his comic strip "Agent Rosa", his work within the last months includes the illustrations for a documentation on the excavations and restaurations of a Roman town in Switzerland - a lovely book, informing about the life back in Roman times from two childrens points of view, Prittusa and Tetto. You can see one illustration HERE. Right now, he's working on various projects, but rumours go about a cartoon with an archaelogical background (do we see a trend here?) |

| PINK KHAKI WEBZINE Isn't it amazing: our webzine doesn't have the latest news, less than 10 % of the content are about sex, the cartoonist aside it's an all-female production, the colours are blinding and yet, people are still reading it. We want to give young artists, be it authors or cartoonists, the chance to showcase their work to a bigger audience for free and without restrictions; to spotlight the wonderful creativity which can be found within sci-fi and fantasy and have a lot of fun along the way ourselves. It's with all intention that we play with the picture the media usually paint of female sci-fi aficionados, and we freely admit we do so with devilish delight - we don't need to "get a life", as we already have one, and a bright, colorful and amazing one at that. Pink Khaki is a completely independent publication, we are nobody's child and all we want is to entertain you - and maybe, once in a while, give you something to think about. |
