The green-eyed charmer has wrapped the hearts of millions of women all over the galaxy around his elegant finger. Being the centerfold of the January issue of "THUNK MONTHLY" sure boosted his popularity - by now, he's got two secretaries who handle his fan mail, which is delivered to his office daily with a truck.
"Really, I'm flattered and humbled", the athletic beau states with a dashing smile when we meet up with him in an elegant café in Washington. "I have no explanation for my popularity - but of course, it's nice to get all the compliments!" So - would he consider dropping his career in the armed forces and try his luck in front of the camera?
Davis laughs, and his deep, melodious voice sure turns the heads of those sitting at the next table. "Me? No, never! Haha, what an idea!" Then, all of a sudden serious again: "I take my job very serious. Fame - sure, it's nice, but at the end of the day, we will be measured by what deeds we've done."
Before he leaves for a meeting, we ask if there's a message he's got for his fans. Davis is puzzled, then he gives us a mischievous smile and there's a twinkle in his eyes:
